I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. I am very personable, outgoing and patient. I became a in home caregiver because I love helping the elderly live more independently from the comfort of their own home. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help seniors gain their confidence back. As a senior losing independence can be very frustrating and causes seniors to become very angry and in some cases lead to depression. Helping these seniors live comfortably from their home and making them comfortable at home while coping with losing their independence is very satisfying and my greatest achievement yet.
