I'm a easygoing and energetic caregiver. Learning routines, meaning learning the way my patients/clients and theirs families would like things to be done is what made me a great caregiver. I love helping people who really can't help themselves feel a little better and feel comfortable is what attracted me to caregiving. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the companionships and making sure they get to their doctors appointments and grocery shopping for them really brightens their day. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is taking care of my grandmother all the way until the end. I always made sure she was comfortable, happy and satisfied. she often told me how proud she was of me for taking care of her.

I consider myself a great caregiver, because I love what I do as a caregiver. I love making sure that the individuals feel loved and make sure all their needs are obtained. I started out very young as a caregiver, taking care of my father and aunts when they could not do things for themselves. Throughout the years those skills stayed with me. I've been a caregiver for about 3 year now I'll like doing it. I wanted to get in to it when my mother got sick then my brother passed away of cancer and I helped out I knew I could do it. It's like you're going to a friends to help out with things that they're not able to do. Actually I would treat them like it's my own mother or father.

Hi, I'm Ella! I am a current nursing student. I will be a senior in the fall of 2018. I have loved caring for people ever since I was little, and it's what got me into nursing! There is nothing I love more than to care for and help people. I have worked with all age groups and have loved every one of them. I have a special place in my heart though for older adult patients and Alzheimer's patients, since I watched my grandma struggle with it for 10 years.
