Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine. Exercise patients who are comatose, paralyzed, or have restricted mobility. Feed patients or assist patients to eat or drink. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Lift or assist others to lift patients to move them on or off beds, examination tables, surgical tables, or stretchers. blood collection, foley and catheter insertion and removal, telemetry placement and removal, BMS placement, Accucheks, specimen collections, wound care.

I've worked as a caregiver since I was 16 at first with my own family then with home health companies, living facilities, psych wards, hospitals. I have extensive experience with children and geriatrics.

Was a (HCA -Home Care Aide) with the state of Ca. Moved back to Murfreesboro. I am easy-going. Do not take things personal. Safety and observant caregiving is my first priority. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver? I have always liked being around the elderly. I volunteered for meals on wheels for four years. And in those four years. I got a one on one experience of the needs of the elderly. I get to help the elderly keep their dignity and there Independence . And stay in their own home where they feel safe.

I'm a spiritual, very compassionate, and empathetic caregiver. I like to pay attention to detail. I believe in schedule but understand when it can't be kept. My helping my great grandmother when I was a child has paved the way of caregiving for me. I enjoy meeting people and learning from them. I'm a giver and helping others is what I do. Having spent decades of my life caring for my elderly patients and I love every minute of it, Such an honor for me ! I have great compassion for others in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives when sometimes other family members cannot due to their own family and lives.
