I am a certified occupational therapist assistant and have worked in a nursing home or a hospital for 7 years. Recently went to one on one cargiving for a disabled non communicive teenager that required detailed ADL services and light housekeeping and appointment rides and prevention of self harm. I have worked with many diagnosis and have some experience with useing sign language. I try to match personal needs and activities for each client and work with them on succeeding in thier personal goals with home and personal experiences.

Provides ADL and more services delivered on a concierge style level. Well heeled and educated for clients wanting full socialization as much as they need personal care. [2] high skills care for critical cases such as ALS, PSP, stroke or quadriplegia. Bed bound/immobile care, wound care assistance. Feeding tubes, med management, glucose checks and insulin injections, Foley, super pubic catheters, colostomy care.

Let me start by stating, entrusting a stranger with the life of a loved one or yourself can be quite daunting. Being a caregiver is much more than technical qualifications; it requires heart, soul, laughter, patience, compassion, and human nature at its most vulnerable state. This is why I am passionate about what I do. I have a very colloquial personality which keeps me fluid with other personalities. I have cared for elders in my community and I enjoy helping them preserve their independence as long as possible and becoming enriched with their history. I am proud of achieving the knowledge of my self worth and the worth of others, along with growth through writing and photography. I have experience with Parkinson's patients as well, and that has been a crowning honor for myself. More so, I find myself living through the wisdom and history of each person's story and take that knowledge through my own journey.
