Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. I decided to become a home health provider because my father suffered a gunshot wound which left him paralyzed. I was only 8 I would see the home health providers come to my house and help take care of my dad and do things for him that he no longer could do and I was very grateful for that at the same time I seen the tremendous help that it also provided for my mother considering she was a mother of 9 children. So I knew that I wanted to help others who there needs even if it was something as simple as cleaning for them and knowing that it also takes off alot of strain on the family members. So if I could bring a little relief to someone and their families even for just a few hours that's rewarding to me and that's the best part of being a provider
