I was raised up caring for people beginning in my own family. At the nudging of my mother, I became an LVN in 1985. After the passing of my father, I neglected to keep my LVN license current but remained in the field of caring. I enjoy helping others accomplish their day as well as family members observing positive change in a homebound loved one. I have a long history in caring which include but not limited to, psych care, dementia, hearing and vision impairment, physical disabilities and so on. I take my work seriously and respect individuals for who they are as well as what they may be going through.

I understand the needs of seniors, their individual care and respect their need for preservation of ' self-respect & identity. I have 20+ years in diversified care needs for seniors. I took care of my own mother the last 10 years of her life with heart, stroke an finally cancer Health issues. I went back to college to pursue Health ENT & medical administrative needs. But my expertise @ demeanor lended itself into the world of caring for seniors. I began a 501c non-profit foundation to grant the final wishes of seniors with less than a year to live with my mother"s inheritance to me. It has granted neatly 250 final wishes @ is reun by a 'Board of Director's' out of Antioch, CA. It is called 'An Elderly Wish Foundation.' I am widowed 2 years now @ spend my time independently employed to care for seniors. I am in excellent health @ do gym work-outs regularly. I like to 'meet' my clients before committing to their care. It is important for our relationship to be compatible, so I am 'clear' on their individual needs. I only want to work part time for one long term client...and would relocate my apartment closer to their city if the match was mutual. I am a strong Christian woman and I walk daily ' in Gods Word'

I have worked for Carelynx since July of last year. I am a widow and live alone. I worked customer service for over 20 years for local manufacturing company's. I took care of a very ill husband who had strokes until he was bedridden and past away. I lost my 49 year old son whom I took care of from 2015-2020. He had In Stage Renal Failure, COPD, Congestive heart failure . I have spent a lot of my life making doctor appointments. Taking care of medication for my husband and son. I can take clients to do grocery shopping , Doctors appointments . I have dependable transportation. I can do meal prep but I cannot climb stairs. I am very dependable and enjoy helping people. I do not do housework . I have been fully vaccinated with all Covid Vaccines.

Patience when dealing with the elderly is a essential for me as a caregiver, to be patient I'm a very dependability when it comes to the well-being of my clients. I'm Attentiveness, Trustworthiness, Compassionate it takes a very special kind of person to be caregiver. I enjoying working with people and really enjoy taking care of people of all ages and circumstan, what excited me the most about being a caregiver is the opportunity is to help those with their needs. I'm easy and outgoing and very positive. I like to help others in need. I like being a caregiver because some people need someone when they have no one else companionship is a good thing. I am very passionate about this line of work. I'm hard working, I have a loving heart, I will always treat your family as I would want mine treated. I am able to keep a calm head in high stress situations which I feel is a necessary when working in this line of work. I've provided care to my own family which is what started my interest as my grandmother has always been my best friend.
