I have years of home health experience. Great people person, with patience, and some medical skills. Being a care giver is a easy occupation as i have been caring for my elderly mother for years now. It also keeps me ony toes as we know health changes from day to day. Having medical assistant background also makes this task a bit easier being that i have some medical training.

I'm reliable, including arriving for work on time and fulfilling all duties on time. I respect students, and patients privacy and dignity. I work with a positive demeanor and kind tone of voice. I'm very patient and considerate when working with a student or patient. I'm known to be very trustworthy with students, and patient care. I enjoy working with people, and animals. I like having a one-on-one interaction with adults. I've always enjoyed taking care of my elder family members, and co workers. I've always had an open heart to people that require some additional help. I like older adults and tend to connect with them very well. My favorite part about being a caregiver, and special needs driver is seeing the elders/children thrive and be happy. I love to see that my efforts and care can make a difference, and make a positive impact on a person's day and well being. One of the special achievements that I'm proud of is the way I can change someone's attitude or day. I have the ability to talk with people and make them feel comfortable and safe.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. Understanding the patients needs and desires to be able to take care of them efficiently is at the most important to their family and myself. It is what makes work environment healthier and understanding for patient and healthcare worker. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

Im anita im 53 and in very good health I have work in the medical field 1999 so I love working with elderly all types of people I'm a person who like to work stay busy like to work long hours I have been doing this for mean year if you have lots of hrs I can do or if you have little hours I can do it... I can also. Cook cleaning and all the good stuff that whit that very will training in the medical field I have also work ass a house manager I work at a care home the Care home had 5 residents I took care of all 5 residents myself and each resident had their different needs and is a care home caregiver and manager I took care of all the financials in for the care home Ordering groceries paying bills raging from hospice to doctor's visits For my clients Very familiar also hospice care And when you work at a caravan with 5 residents you are to cook clean take care of their medications take care of their doctor's appointments make sure everything in the home is safe for them 3 meals A-day exercise daily Pass out meds as needed keep the The family informed of their love one It all depends on what type of work is needed my pay is 25$ an hour, But if it's just a panic ship I can do it for 17$an hour. That's per person if it is husband and wife I can work on agreement

Tolerance and respect are what make me a great caregiver, making a different and becoming part of someone's life, being there for someone who needs my services makes me to enjoy life. I meet and make new families and friends across the world with different lifestyle and culture make me fulfilled my dreams.

I started caring for family (my grandmother) from there I found a passion is helping others who are in need of a caring hand. Helping others who need extra assistance to stay in their home makes me feel like I'm giving back to others. Being able to keep people home as long as possible is the best feeling for being a caregiver .

My reasons for becoming a caregiver because I volunteered to care for my terminal cancer sisters(2) & my terminal cancer father. I cared for them in bathing them (sponge baths), giving their medicines, scheduling their meds, making soups, their special drinks, sweet porridge, changing their pampers as needed or if they preferred walking to bathroom, also changing their beds everyday. I also cared fir my mom whenever she would have her diarrhea accidents, she had colostomy illness. She had her provider but I substituted whenever I was needed. I never applied for caregiver services but volunteered only for my family. I was glad to have cared for my family members. Caring for someone dying of cancer is very heartbreaking especially if it's your family member. It broke my heart with my family. My satisfaction of caring for my family members is that I tried my best to make their painful dying days the most comfortable. My older sister told me that I was her bathing helper, that I should teach the nurses. We both laughed.

I have a great personality, good listener, I enjoy sharing my time with the elderly patients hearing them talk about the past . Ienjoy knowing that I have the ablity to help someone in need. I am proud that with the people that I have help[ed in the past I still have contact with some of them and still am able to help them. That is what i am most proud of that they still look for me.
