Hello my name is Shonesha and I have been in Healthcare since 2007 and have been licensed since 2011. I am very patient, dependable, outgoing. I have worked with all type of patients.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter

I am always waiting to learn new things and make my clients feel better.

I've been in the healthcare field for almost 10yrs. My motto is to be the caregiver that I want in the future. I've worked in many nursing homes, assisted living and memory care facilities. When I worked at autumn Leaves as a CNA, I was offered the position as a Life Engagement Specialist. Within my new position, my role included conducting activities and exercises. When I started the exercise routine, I made some changes to make it more fun for everyone. Within 3months, it went from 20% participation to 60%. I've worked with all type of patients and residents and also understand that this change is not only on the client but also effects the family members as well. My goal is to pay it forward for those who are in need.

I have the following personality traits: Humble, reliable, persistence, self-control, honest, integrity, confident, patient, and compassionate. With my personality I am able to be a great caregiver by looking for the brighter side of situations rather than on the negative; I am understanding and have empathy to relate to others well; I am able to create enthusiasm to stimulate other people; I am able to exercise humility; and most of all taking responsibility for my actions. What attracted me to being a caregiver, well I started as a young child working at my grandmother's nursing home. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is bringing joy to those I serve, The personal achievement that I am proud of is receiving a Certificate of Completion of The National Caregiver Certification Program.

As a caregiver/CNA I do this type of work because its what I enjoy. I'm a very caring person that has a deep compassion for the work I do. I treat my clients as my own. Companion is a must. I'm a very listening and understanding person that empathizes. VERY ENCOURAGING! Catch on very quickly, discerning new clients and surroundings (it tells me a little about their personalities and characteristics, what i may be up for). I've known since age 13 what I wanted to do. I'm a certified CNA, caregiver, HAHA. I've worked with many individuals in very different levels. I have 13+ in the medical field. I love challenges. I've worked with many challenging residents and clients in homes, out of homes, nursings facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I'm willing and ready to take on whatever needs my attention. I can do ROM, participate in Dr appointments, etc. When and if hired, I will provide documentation.

I'm a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide with a wide range of medical care skills applicable to positions in public and private healthcare environments. Adept at meeting patient needs in a timely manner. Focused on maintaining patient care requirements.

I am understanding and compassionate to each individual's care and needs. I treat my patients and their family with respect and dignity that all deserves. I have worked in various setting such as, Adult Trauma & Pediatric Unit in ER , Brain and Spinal Injury, Alzheimer/Dementia, MICU, SICU, PACU, Telemetry,Labor & Delivery, Ante and Post Partum, NICU, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, ICU, Nursing Homes and In Home Care.
