I am a genuine individual who loves to care for the well being of others.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping other people and I care for them as I would my own family, it brings me happiness to be there for them when they don't have anyone or even the ones that do that just need some around to help them or just be there with them.

Very kind and compassionate Have been caregiving for 20+ yrs CPR certified I enjoy caring for and interacting with a variety of people, but I am very partial to Seniors. Finding out their likes and dislikes and being able to take care of them in a compassionate manner, talking with them and listening to them has afforded me joy in learning about them and letting them know they still have so much value to the world. Recently I have been working privately for families, so this system is new but good. I feel comfortable and able to contribute to their health care plans while sharing information with the family .

I became a caregiver because of my mother. As a young child we helped my grandmother run her in home elderly care business and my mother also volunteered at nursing homes. She also cleaned homes for elderly patients that couldn't keep up with it themselves and said, "I won't clean for abled people to be lazy, I will only clean for the elderly who is struggling to keep up with their normal lives. " I've always watched my mother show compassion and great respect towards her elders. I was the youngest of her 3 children and my older sisters never wanted to play with me. I would ride my bike or walk to the elderly neighbors houses and visit with them or play card games. One neighbor had a hl big garden and would teach me how to garden and even built a monkey bridge between two of his trees in his yard for me to climb and swing on. I've learned that most of the time the older the wiser, and have gotten great wisdom and advice from elderly men and women throughout my life. I have 6 children and I keep a clean mostly happy home with home cooked meals and my own little garden and small chicken coop. If I'm not working I'm at home caring for my children. I told my mother I wanted 8 children when I grew up and she laughed. Until, that is, number six was due to arrive. I have a pretty good understanding of how to keep people alive and healthy. I'm active, I go walking at the park, and around my neighborhood often. I was also a stay at home mom for 13 years and managed all the errands and finances and cooking on my own. I'm great at serving others and I'm very polite and respectful.

I love taking care of people, it makes me smile to see others happy and smile. I started this because I am good with others and I think the elderly deserve the best because they have put their time in and it's their time to be taken care of and for. I also have experience with caregiving

I LOVE PEOPLE!!! I love caring for them! I spent a few years working as an EMT so I have Emergency Medical training as well as caregiver experience. I have been in college for the last 6 years and recently obtained my Masters Degree in Divinity (Biblical Study) and Christian Counseling. I am currently working on my PhD. I have been a licensed minister for 4 years and my last job was a Hospice Chaplain which I feel is my true calling in life. The reason being a caregiver also works for me is that I find that many of my clients are in the last years of their lives, and I enjoy being able to talk with them and help them and their family members with acceptance and ability to get things in order, such as working through their fears, problems with unforgiveness, and their spiritual condition. I don't preach to them, I listen and allow them to make their own decisions about their life. I may make suggestions, pray with them or for them if they desire, but never try to push my beliefs on them. I want to help them be at ease and comfortable in every area. I love the wisdom of the elderly and have learned so much from my clients. I have raised 6 daughters and 1 son, who is 15 now. I have 8 grandchildren that I adore. My husband and I have been married for 34 years. I guess that being a mom and a wife really puts my care giving experience at 34 years instead of just a few. I can provide excellent references and am trustworthy, dependable, cheerful, and compasionate.

I honestly went right in to provider as a young 19 yr girl. This is my calling always will be to make someones day with just a simple gesture or a smile. I think what attracted me as young girl that cared totally 100 percent was just living the life I had and pushed myself to be a bigger and better person,I lived with my grandmother and then she lived in the nursing home and I would always go and be with her and the residents. I appreciated my life by viewing what others lived...Sometimes not so fortunate. Will I enjoy being a care taker to brighten someones day with a act kindness and just being myself...knowing I made a difference in someones Day. My personal acheivment I Made was always knowing that everyone knew that I worked with. I love the elderly, and find taking care of them and contributing to their life to be very fulfilling and rewarding. It has become a great skill of mine. Helping others as much as i can is my passion.

I have a happy, bubbly personality. I love to laugh and have fun. I cared for my mother for 2 years. She was completely blind so I cared for her 24/7. I assisted with taking her to the bathroom, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, brushing hair, incontinence . Washed/ dried clothes, linens, towels, grocery shopping, cooking all meals, washing dishes. Cleaning the house, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping. Administered medications. Driving her to all doctor appointments, kept track of all doctor diagnosis. Worked with home health agency - coordinated all nurse, PT, OT, speech/memory therapist, Commission for the blind visits. Paid bills and reconciled bank accounts and any other financial business. Offered companionship, friendship. Finalized all burial matters. Cared for my brother for 1 year. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Dealt with the VA regarding his health care and a fiduciary for his Military pension. I was his representative payee for Social Security benefits. He had agent orange, loss of cartilage in his knees and couldn't walk, neuropathy, diabetes, liver disease/failure cancer, high ammonia levels causing confusion, memory loss and violent tendencies. He was very challenging - personal care was handled by my husband (I was his little sister and he would not allow me to care for him in that manner). Worked with home health care agency like my mother. Worked with hospice. Helped care for my husband's father for 4 months. Brought my father in-law home from nursing home where he was placed on hospice immediately. He had three strokes requiring stents. Last stroke paralyzed his right arm and leg and impaired his speech Managed all doctor, hospice nurse, therapist visits. Insured that all necessary medical equipment was ordered and delivered - hospital beds, shower benches, wheel chairs, walkers, breathing equipment, oxygen tanks, etc. for all three relatives.

i am a people person i have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and able to do whatever my job reqires. what attracted me is from a youth i have always taken care of people young and old with various conditions. i enjoy making others happy and keeping them safe. having letters recomendations from previous jobs i am proud because what i have done have helped me to contiue on with the good work.
