My favorite thing about being a CNA is taking care of my patients in a very vulnerable and uncomfortable time in their lives along with being that trusted person to care for them. Hi, I enjoy being around people and helping when needed. I've been that way since I was a little girl, you would always see me helping others. What enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that I gave someone the dignity and support they needed during the time I was there, and that I gave them my best. My greatest accomplishment so far in my 48 years of living is being a mom and grandmother! I have 4 amazing children and I am just amazed at how successful and thoughtful they are! And my grand babies are just perfect!

I have worked as a banker at Us Bank for the past 3 years while also being a full-time student at Dixie State University. I will have my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science in December, which I then plan on furthering my education going to Nursing school at Dixie if accepted the following spring. I've just recently finished my CNA courses and am looking to gain some experience in the health care field. I'm very outgoing and I enjoy getting to talk to and get to know others. I find fulfillment in life by helping others which is why I chose this career path and am excited to see where it takes me.

I am a caring and compassionate individual that comes with seven years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in various expanses from Skilled nursing facilities to physical rehabilitation facilities to hospitals and home health. I decided in 2016 that it would be a good idea to advance my career in the medical field and became a Certified Medical assistant starting out in urgent care/family practice to move into Cardiology practice which I have enjoyed over the past two years (Between Montana and in St. George UT). Sadly in 2018 I did let my Certified Nursing Assistant certificate expire, so I would be a personal care attendent in this capacity doing the same thing as a CNA. Since I have started the pre-requisits for Nursing in 2021 at Dixie state University to regain my certification is in the works. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my family has been in the medical field for three generations so I am following suite. I took care of my grandparents for four years prior to becoming a CNA. Then I was encourage by my family to get my certificate and continue on. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the ability to meet people on their needs and fulfilling what missing and helping them through some of the most difficult times in their life. Something that I am most proud of is seeing my patients leave with a smile when they are confronted with challenges and helping them transition from chaos thinking to clear avenues of thoughts and peace.

I am a calm person, and a good listener. I enjoy hearing the stories that a client would like to tell. I have been a natural caregiver and have taken care of both parents, three aunts, a sister, several friends and clients. I enjoy caregiving because it allows time to get to know people and better assess their needs both physically and emotionally.
