The skills I obtained during 23 years of being a Project Manager have easily transferred to other roles because of the importance of documentation, reliability, schedule and the need for details and providing weekly reports. In the last 3 years I have been a private caregiver with most of my clients having dementia, Alzheimer's, strokes, cancer, or hip replacement post care. I transferred out of the corporate world to something I was passionate about because of the influence on my parents impressing upon me to give back, to use my talents and heart to help others during times when freedom and dignity and a lack of companionship aren't providing the quality of life they deserve.

I have experience with mentally handicapped. I worked at a care center for 3 years and found enjoyment in helping others. I also have two kids of my own that I am raising and also am fulfilled in teaching and helping them to become dependent adults. My mother had a stroke 4 years ago and have helped her with rehabilitation and daily care to get her back to dependency. I am a patient individual and would love to have the opportunity to help people who are unable to help themselves.

I have the upmost respect or the elderly. I've enjoyed when I had taken care of my mom just that closeness just being able to do that for her knowing that she took care of me on my life and now it was my turn to take care of her. I spent a few years prior to that helping my brother take care of my dad I would assist him with lotion on his feet and making sure he had what she needed dietary wise before he passed away.

Hello, my name is April and I have 10+ years experience working in the Home health care industry, and thoroughly enjoy it! I have provided care in homes and hospitals for a diversity of patients with Alzheimers, Parkinsons, dementia, and hospice needs. I am first aid and CPR certified, a CNA, and have started taking classes to become a nurse. I have had a variety of medical experience such as working in the University of Utah burn unit which required high medical standards. I have been a caregiver for 16 yrs i love taking care of people growing up i was the oldest so i had to take care of my mother who had many health issues and when i was 17 i got into the companies and did live in this is where my heart has always been i want to be a register nurse one day. Have been a CNA for about 6 years now. I initially wanted to be a nurse, but being a D1 student-athlete at Weber State, the clinical hours of nursing and the demands of softball did not work . I love relationship building and companionship as a CNA, that is what makes it all worth it. I recently received my B.S in Healthcare Service Administration and am pursuing a dual master's degree of healthcare and business administration.

Hello my name is Mya! Hopefully we get a chance to meet but I'll tell you a little but about myself beforehand! I am a cerified nursing assistant and have been certified for two years now! My loving and understanding personality has made me the best caregiver I could be. I love my clients and if they have a smile at the end of our visit, I know I've done my best job.
