Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.

Hello, I'm Devan. Ive always loved care-giving. When i was younger i used to volunteer at Catholic Charities' OASIS (Older Adult Services and Intervention System) and had a strong connection with helping the elderly.

Because I love caring for older people and taking care of kids. Seeing the elderly smile and learning their life experiences and love being part of their family. Helping someone come out of her second stroke she's 92 and I am still caring for her. I am a very compassionate caregiver and always like to make someone smile , and they all say I have very good common sense , and very confident at what I do.

Certified in CPR PCA certified (Personal Care Aide) I love being a caregiver, I love helping anyone I can. I have helped take care of all of my grand parents and they were thankful enough to have family to care for them in their last days but iv always taken care of people who didnt have that and no one deserves to be alone at the end of life. My goal is to help them enjoy their last days weather its talking, reading, playing games, coloring or just being there to have someone to sit with them. I am now certified as a PCA personal care aide as well as CPR I plan to go to school to further my education so i can also work in nursing homes. I worked with a boy with autism for 8 years as well. He became like my little brother. I dont mind working on either spectrum. As long as i can help make their lives a little easier and put a smile on their face then im doing what i aim to do.

I had a cleaning business most my life as well as caring for the elderly because that's what I love to do. I have traveled some and am from Virginia,the Shenandoah valley. I was born in Oregon, went to CA, then to VA. when my parents moved there. I just recently moved here in FL. as my husband is here to go to school. I love it so much!I cook clean, do errands have gone on vacation. I love to play the piano when I get a chance and garden, I like to read and I hope you will like me I haven't disliked anyone I've cared for. When I was growing up my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Being as young as I was I couldn't help quite as much as I would've liked, so as I got older, this lit a passion in me to help others. I love the thought of giving another family what my grandmother's health care providers gave my family -peace of mind. Knowing that there is always somebody there to protect our loved ones while making their lives more enjoyable.

Being a caregiver is a very rewarding job, I love being a caregiver, meeting new people, having conversations, being able to help someone is a blessing.
