I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait and here in the states. I was told I could not help because I was not a caregiver. I helped her on my break; she thank me the next day.I put my two weeks in and applied as a care provider.It makes me happy then I can help residents with there activities of daily living; providing mental and physical stimulation.
