I am a great caregiver that cares about people because I have deep compassion for others. I have been helping people since I was 17 yrs. old, not knowing I would be doing this for the last 27 yrs. I enjoy helping people, and knowing that I have made a difference in someone life.Helping people feels my heart with joy.

I am a very diligent and compassionate caregiver. I am extremely dependable and trustworthy. I have taken care of many families in the two years that I have officially worked as a caregiver, however, I like to say I have been a care giver for most of my life. I took care of my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimers for eight years. Taking care of her helped me realize the importance of companionship, respect, compassion and patience to not only my patients but to everyone. These are the traits and values I use everyday to help the people I care for have a great quality of life. I have worked with many different patients ranging from patients who need full assistance to patients who need minimal assistance. Hi my name is Marissa, I started caregiving after I graduated highschool. I was very close with my grandma. She was my world. She passed away in 2009, and I honestly did it there on out. Elderly are super important to me and need to be loved. I love knowing I can help a family in need when I know how tough it is to care for a parent or family member when you have your own life to live as well, I enjoy it and it could be a good career. It's rough sometimes, and I miss who I've cared for but it is the circle of life. Dementia Alzheimers med giving Bed bound patients Bed baths med giving feeding. Gtube feeding switching out bags and adminstiring pills through gtube. Companionship weekly I'd buy lunch and we'd play games puzzles etc walks outside or simply staying in watching the news. I have given insulin for diabetics also checking blood sugar catheter changes and new ones! I am very qualifed for many positions. I was also a personal assistant as well, computer work, errands, work emails business calls.

I am a compassionate, and very empathetic person. I am hard working and extremely persistent. I enjoy older adults, and feel every person no matter how old or young has value. I have 6 yrs exp. as a Certified Nursing Assistant and currently am Certified as a Medical Assistant.

I'm very outgoing loving caregiver, I love elderly and children. I am a huge animal lover and I love to build relationships with my clients and treating them as my family. My attraction to becoming a caregiver began when my Opa was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dementia, I took care of him and grew love for the field and became very attached to everyone that I took care of. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is starting school and working my way up to starting my own assisted living and home care business.

I am a very caring, patient, and responsible caregiver. One of my biggest passions is helping others. From the time I started working as a CNA to now I have loved every part of it. All i've ever done is care for other people mainly family members that's what makes me happy. I decided to make caregiving as my career after years of taking care of family members. my mother was a nurse she taught me a lot about caring for people. i took care of my mom for 16 years until she passed away in 2018. i know she's very proud of me showing the love to other people as i showed to her when cared for her. i love most about caregiving is making a difference in someone's life helping make their lives more meaningful. i'm proud of the good care i give to people and the joy i have brought to their lives and most of all taking care of my mother knowing she was happy all the way to her last day. there's nothing more i'd rather do in life but to bring happiness and joy in people lives
