My name's Mariah. Being a caregiver is something I've done seems all my life. I grew up on a hobby farm and had many animals. I was there caregiver. They thought me responsibility, respect, patience, kindness, and much more. I chose this career path because of my father. He was very I'll in my teen years. I learned about heart disease and skin cancer. He's now in heaven cheering me on. I also took care of my aunt who had kidney disease and spina bifida. My family has taught me a lot about living life to the fullest. That's why I enjoy being a caregiver because everyone should live life to the fullest each and every day. My goals are to make everyone smile and forget there problems, even when you don't feel well a laugh is always a step forward. When I leave my shift at the end of the day, I want my clients to know there cared for, respected, and most of all safe. My clients are MY BOSS. I'm willing to go above and beyond. When family's get tired I'm here, I'm there back bone. I'm always willing to help give advice or be a listening ear. Please remember it's harder for the person then you! Always keep a smile!

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Its essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help by showing empathy and compassion,I let my patient know I care about them I do what I can to help, not because I have to but because I want to im patient reliable and trustworthy. Caregivjng in itself is a huge personal accomplishment and im proud of my resourcefulness,flexibility and determination even with a difficult patient caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

I have finished my CNA a course a while back and will be renewing my first-aid certification this December. I love to help/care for others in general and have been told I have very nurturing characteristics. I strongly believe in caring for each individual as if they were my own loved one and making sure they receive the proper care needed. I have plenty of experience within the health care field in different settings - as well as caring for my own family members/close friends that have needed care in the past and present time. I became a Certified Nurse Assistant because I understand how difficult life and decisions can be without basic support on variable mental, emotional and physical levels. I feel that is where my passion and dedication to help others roots from. In my early childhood, the relationship between my grandparents and I was unique and special to me. I would go above and beyond to be helpful around the house whether it was dusting, washing the car or even cleaning up the mess made by the fish my grandfather caught and cleaned for a meal. Many of times, I would just do without being asked. Ultimately, no matter what the duties were, it always gave me this great rewarding feeling inside just being helpful in making the day/night easier for them. Im proud of being able to extend my natural capabilities to anyone/ families who can benefit from assistance.

The reason why I became a caregiver is because of my grandmother. I like caring for other because I feel like that could be my grandmother or my grandfather and how would I want them to be treated and cared for. So that is why I make sure that my clients or cared for and are happy when I am there and when I leave and hopefully they are happy to see me when they see me again. Sometimes they just would someone there to talk to and listen to them.
