I worked in medical offices and hospitals for 25 years. In 2007 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and my father was in poor health with heart disease. They came to live with us and my husband and I provided 24 hour care for them for eight years. It was at that time I decided to become a CNA and provide care, comfort, and become a companion to our seniors and provide support to the family.
