I am a happily married woman aged 65 living in Hamden CT. I work out in a gym almost everyday which makes me very strong. Friends and family members tell me that I am a born caregiver. I spent 5 years taking care of a very sick man performing all duties including dispensing medicine, taking him to doctor and hospital appointments and watching over him at home. For the last 12 months I have been helping an 86-year old client on oxygen who is both mentally and physically challenged. See below for details. Every patient with whom I have worked has called me back or requested that I remain permanently. I prefer to work 40/hrs wk on a long-term basis with one person or family. If necessary I can work longer hours .That way I can be become better acquainted with the person for whom I am caring and better understand his or her needs. I work out in a gym almost every day and am physically in excellent shape and very strong. I also completed and passed the Red Cross CNA course. I
