I love helping people. I like being a caregiver because I love talking , listening to their life story & making a positive difference in the person's life Im caring for in a non-institutional way. When someone is ill I think it takes their mind away from their situation for a moment. Feeling relaxed is also a important factor in recovery. Yet being professional & handling necessary tasks. My acheivements: 2010 I was inducted into the Cna Hall of fame while employed at Beechwood Manor for 21 yrs. At the Village of Kensington in Meriden 2012 I received service champion of the year. Im now employed at Masonicare & I was the first recipient of the new program act of kindness award. Im patient, respectful & dependable. I like to offer solutions that can help caring for someone better & sharing things Ive discovered works in diffucult areas. Ive care for people from many backgrounds such as Seniors, special needs , mentally & intellectually challenged.
