I started out very young knowing that I wanted to be a caregiver. I took care of family members before I even went to school. To me it was just second nature to care for someone in need. I find it rewarding knowing I was able to help someone, even if it's something as small as taking a shower or being with them while they watch their favorite show and making sure they didn't eat dinner alone. I'm very compassionate, but that doesn't get in the way of my work. I am able to keep myself professional but at the same time be a comforting aide to someone in need. I find great joy in helping people of any age accomplish any small daily task. To some it may seem trivial. To me it's what keeps me going. I am a very fast learner so I can accommodate anyone.
