About Angelique

I was employed with a doctor of Internal Medicine as an office assistant but I found I preferred working more closely with the patients than that position afforded me. I have extensive experience with taking care of the elderly and the terminally ill as I have taken care of both my grandmother and my terminally ill daughter. My grandmother lived to be 97 and I took care of all her needs till till she was taken to a nursing home by my aunt 2 years before her death. Also, I took care of my daughter who fought a three year battle with osteoscarcoma. After a short recovery she relapse and the tumors began growing in her lungs. She was on hospice care with Gilchrist and they came once a week for 15 minute visits thus the bulk of her care was administered by me till she passed away at home. I have done much charity work including, work with the homeless, senior center enrichment classes (crochet), and Meals on Wheels. I enjoy being outside and taking walks, animals of all kinds, and reading. I am a quiet and patient individual and have great compassion for all but especially the young, elderly and ill. I am at my best with one on one interactions where bonds and friendships can be made. It is my desire to move to PA, between the Shrewsbury and York area so I am very interested in Norther MD, York to Southern PA positions.

I took care of my grandmother when I was a stay at home mom. She was in her 90's and passed away at 97. I was responsible for every aspect of life, cooking, bathing and grooming, companionship, finances, medicine, doctor visits and exercise. In 2014, my 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. She succumb to the illness in 2017. I have vast experience with fragile terminally ill care because of her year long decent while in hospice. I gave her intravenous medicine via her port, gave medicine 5 times a day, hygiene and grooming, experience with delicate appetites, assisting with physical immobility, use of oxygen devices, mood swings resulting from extreme pain, narcotic medicine administration such as morphine and fentanyl patches.
