I am a very bubbly and positive person with a very contagious spirit. I like to cheer my patients up before we speak with a simple smile and a great attitude. I am a great caregiver because I am an extremely selfesless person, with high levels of emotional intelligence. I became a caregiver while I was in college because I attended a special high school where I was able to complete a CNA program. I spent most of my time with my grandparents growing up and I felt that doing home health care as a undergraduate student would be something I actually enjoyed doing, and it was. I enjoy being able to work closely with the patient at home because in this way I am not only able to positively affect the patient, but also the loved ones who car for the patient. I am often reminded of my family and how we stuck together and developed a relationship with my late grandfathers health care aid. A personal achievement of mine as it relates to home healthcare I would have to say is the success I had while working as a live in healthcare aid for a family in a Boston for a year and a half.
