I have always been a caregiver naturally but my experience grew with my grandparents who suffered from Alzheimer's and a stroke with no mobility. I would always help the nurse who care for them by assisting with bathing feeding getting around medication pickups and reminders. My greatest joy to come out of that was when my grandmother told me that she felt more safe and she knew her care was in the hands of someone who truly cared, she said i was a natural. I remain to hold the core values of being a caregiver and it is my pleasure to give help to anyone who needs me.
