I became a caregiver because I want to make a difference in senior lives. I like the one to one companionship from a caregiver to senior. Honestly, it is better to provide personal care to one person that providing care for 8 to 14 residents in a log-term facility. My personal achievement that I am proud of is to see them enjoying life again with their family and friends and to see their health in a better state. I am outgoing, compassionate, laid-back, funny, quiet, adventurous, caring, loving, hard-working, open-minded, generous, and observant. I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 16 years. It will 17 years on June 7th. I have 14 years of working in the field of home health care. I have 3 years working in a log-term facility (Regency Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center). I have good experience working with seniors and dementia/alzhimer's clients. I can assist your loved one with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, repositioning, preparing and cooking daily meals, participate in daily activities with your loved ones, light housekeeping and medical management. I know how to check vital signs, check weight, check blood glucose, wound care, treatment care.
