I became a Caregiver because i hate to see people suffer, i hate seeing people not be able to do something and some people not even help them out. I feel like i was born to help people who are in need and make them feel new again. My favorite thing about being a Caregiver is just knowing that i helped someone out during my day, knowing that i took my time and made sure someone was feeling okay and if they weren't i tried to make them a little happier then how they were in the begin of the day. When i was doing clinical and i was in the Dementia unit at Harbor Health just knowing i put a smile on someones face during the day, or even changing there diaper, or giving them a shower sometimes its even letting them tell you stories that just makes them happy. That is the kind of stuff that makes my day, makes me proud. I am a all around nice person i have bad days but no one can ever tell. I still have a smile on my face and im in a great mood. I love helping others and taking care of people even if it is little kids.
