I began my medical training while serving in the United States army as a combat medic. Multitasking was key to proving exceptionally care to all military personal, functioning knowledgeably in a extremely fast pace atmosphere was a skill needed on a daily basis during my 10 years of service. After being honorably discharged, I continued my medical training by becoming certified nursing assistant and then obtaining my CNA license adapting to providing exceptional care and emotional support while assisting with the residents daily living activities. As a cna for over sixteen years I have become more knowledgeable and understanding of development factors specific to adult and geriatric residents as well as becoming more advanced with medical terminology and procedures. Not only have I gained valuable experience through training and job opportunities but I have also gained experience through my education, internship and volunteering opportunities.
