Hi! My name is Lisa and I believe the expertise that makes me a great caregiver is my ability to connect with people easily, empathize with them, and make them comfortable with me. I am also caring, compassionate, friendly, professional, patient, reliable, observant, respectful, detail-oriented, and dedicated to my clients well-being. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I helped my mother take care of my father while he was fighting cancer, going through treatments and surgeries, and also at the end of his life. That experience made me realize that I enjoy caregiving and was good at it, so I wanted to share my gift and hopefully make a difference in at least one person's life. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the relationships I build with my clients and making them smile and/or making their day. Even though taking care of my father was one of the hardest things I have ever done, I would still consider it to be a personal achievement that I am proud of. I know that he passed away happy and at peace because he was at home with his family, where he wanted to be.
