Hello. My name is Dahny. My husband and I are parents to three boys; age 8, 10, and 12. They are great kids. Helping others have always been second nature to me. Before I had my boys, I was a foster mom to a new born baby boy. I picked him up from the hospital when he was 3 days old. I took care of him for about three months before he was adopted by a family who had adopted his brother. It was difficult letting him go but I knew he would be okay growing up with a biological brother. Shortly after my darling foster child left, I found my husband and we started our family almost right away. I spent 10 years taking care of my family. With my boys in school full time, I went back to helping others as a caregiver and I love it. I take care of everyone under my watch like my own family. I treat everyone with respect, understanding, and with kindness. I am grateful and proud that I have only had positive feedback from past clients.

I'm a very compassionate person, and I've enriched the lives of many, while in the comfort of their own surroundings. I've worked in the medical field as a respiratory technician for 15 years, and I've been a certified caregiver for 20 years and found that in home health care is where my passion lies. The majority of my clients are elderly, and to remove them from their surroundings can often cause them too much trauma. Being in their homes with them, and assisting them in day-to-day activities, is always more comfortable and provides a much happier environment. I know at the end of each day I have shown them compassion and made their lives more comfortable and peaceful. I am certified in CPR and FIRST AID, and I am a CERTIFIED CAREGIVER. I also have an extensive medical background as a RESPIRATORY TECHNICIAN ,and other aspects in the medical profession.

I have worked in assisted living, a group home for brain injury, and I have been an in home caregiver for many different types of people including quadriplegics, and have also worked in mental health. What makes me a great caregiver. Well it's easy to answer my love, compassion, respect for elderly I've a caregiver since 2010 because taking care of a good friend whom had several health issues later on she convinced me to get my certification in order to work with others in need of help she thought I could be great in the field needless to say love the health care field I'm taking classes to enroll into the nursing program pretty soon. Have some other certifications like certificate to administrate medications, O2 equipment, mental illness,trained to use medical equipment as well. I have had many different cases in the past. I feel pretty comfortable providing total care.

I earned my bachelors degree in psychology at the University of California Riverside. At the moment I am in nursing school. I was a caregiver for 2 years prior to beginning school.
