I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I take care of all my patients as if they were my own family and make sure they are comfortable and most importantly I listen to their needs. I first became interested in health care when my mother was ill and needed care herself and realized that I had a real passion for helping others. I enjoy knowing that the family can be at ease knowing I'm there taking care of their loved ones. At Long Beach Memorial I was know as the "sitter whisper" because whenever they had a difficult patient they would alway assign me that patient and by the end of the day the patient would no longer require restraints or was completely compliant and friendly. They always ask what was my secret and I would say I simply listen to what their needs are.

I started in the medical field at 18, successfully as a ward clerk in Intensive and Coronary Care. I successfully worked as a ward clerk in a hospital Emergency Room for over 3 years. I have been detailed and successful for over 3O years in the financial departments at 3 Orange County hospitals, as well as doctor offices, a medical group and a surgi-center. I began caregiving in my home in 2011. I cared for an elderly gentlemen with many needs for 3 years. I found it rewarding. I have cared for two ladies with dementia/Alzheimer's as well as blindness.
