I am energetic and very social. I know that my compassion will make me a great caregiver because I believe that caregiving is not only about working for the person but making them feel safe and loved. What attracted me to be a caregiver was seeing my kind hearted mom help the elderly as a CNA. She does it with so much joy and that has inspired me. A personal achievement that I am proud of is when my patient and I formed a wonderful bond. My patient felt like a grandfather to me, and until his passing we enjoyed life together. First of all I must say that since I have been a caregiver I have learned a lot of things as far as being patient, how to truly love and care about someone , because when you are with someone for a long period of time you really get to know that person and become so close to them and once they are gone it really gets to your heart . When I go to work I like to be cheerful ,happy to be here on this earth another day. I like to take my client out for a walk or out for a ride to get an ice cream. I truly love my job!!
