I have experience working in assisting living environments. I also been working in in- home care settings. I worked +2 years in working with disabled adults. Skilled in assisting patients with daily activities. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was when I would see my mom caring for her dad and she would have a hard time and she didn't know how to find help and I would try helping her even if it was helping to set up clothes for the day or helpings in making a meal. So now that I'm getting older I want to be prepared to one day be able to personally care for my parents. Am license in state of colorado with certification in nurse aide and BLS/CPR. I have knowledge of proper care, feeding, wound care, grooming and catheter care. I have about 13 years experience as a certified nurse aide and also have experience in housekeeping to provide help and encouragement to those who are physically disabled in other to make them feel at home and loved at all time. Monitoring patients and providing all kind of activity of daily living are my major task as a certified nurse aide.
