Hi My Name Is Porsha , I've worked with elderly for over 5+ years ,Also I've worked with individuals who has special disabilities. Helping assist with daily needs etc ..I love being an caregiver because it makes me feel great to help others who doesn't have motivation. I became an caregiver because I watched and worked around group homes when I was in Hs & I love everything about caregiving .

I'm currently have 3 National Medical Certifications. Getting ready to graduate with a bachelor degree in sociology. I'm headed to grad school after graduation. I love taking care of individuals with physical mental or emotional disorders. I have a heart of gold and enjoy sharing my skills to help individuals that can not take care of themselves.

I have a one and a half year-old son Who I love and adore. I am overall someone who can be relied upon in serious situations and I just believe everybody should be treated with love and respect.

My oldest child is 30 years old, I also have a 21 year old, and a 13 year old. My children are my greatest achievements and they are where my caregiver "carrier" truly started. They taught me a great deal of patience, they taught me to be reliable and flexible. All are things that I use in my caregiver profession still today. Through them I have learned I love helping people. When I have a client they become a second family to me. For me seeing the smile of a family member I have helped leaves me with a worm fuzzy feeling that cant be explained. Offered companionship to patients, and played games with them or read to them. Massaged patients to offer comfort or to apply a specific treatment.
