I am enthusiastic and enjoy working with the elderly. I am a loyal and faithful companion. I was first attracted to caring for the elderly through my grandmother who simply needed someone to understand. I have taken care of my grandmother my mother and many elderly since then. What I enjoy most about caring for the elderly his to give them a reason to smile, laugh and be happy in their own environment and being their own selves. Some of my personal achievements that I am extremely proud of was a dementia patient who no longer enjoyed painting and with my enthusiastic caring she started painting again. Another elderly lady with Alzheimer's who had forgotten that she loved the outdoors and to walk for exercise. We started sitting on her front porch enjoying the birds and butterfly's and walking down the road for exercise. She even challenged me to a race, LOL. Then another was afraid to take the escalator, she was afraid she would fall. With no other way out, I helped her walk right onto it with no trouble. There was a gentleman that had not fed himself in many years, with my encouragement he was eating by himself again with no assistance. These are just a few of the accomplishments with the elderly that I am thankful that I was able to Help with and Witness.

My personality positive attitude, very welcoming and understanding. I have a disabled brother and I care for him so I put a little extra care in as if they are my family. I enjoy getting to know the family and the person and become apart of their circle . I have achieved so much thus far I'm a CPT,Medical assistant, HHA, and still pursuing a nursing degree.

I've been in the healthcare field for a total of 8 years. I am a certified nursing assistant with the state of Florida and currently a Practical Nursing student. I'm known for having a big heart that holds the utmost compassion for my patients and their families. I strive to make sure that whoever is under my care is happy and healthy. My name is taniah johnson I'm 19 years old , what made me start being a care giver is when my great grand dad became very sick and seen how he was mis treated and how a lot of people just really ain't have time for him . And my grandmother was looking for a personal care giver that she can trust it was actually one of my first job to help my grand dad I couldn't see nobody us mistreating him so I took on a big responsibility at 16 and I love it I started taking classes wen I was 17 in high school got my second job as a pca at 18 I really like helping them showing nobody didn't give up on you affection I love making them feel like they have somebody they can trust I like seeing that I'm doing good at a young age .

I started my nursing career at 22 years old. I was a kid when I started, but I was a kid with a different type of soul and I knew it. It was almost scary being that age and full of love and knowledge. Let's be honest, most kids at that age are having the time of their life. I had fun too, but it was reading and educating myself. That was my fun. I think having a sick sibling at a young age is what drew me into nursing. I was about 13 when my sister was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. Interesting enough, I would read and learn more about her disease than she did. I stuck with me. I have been a nurse a total of 22 years.

I have a passion for caregiving. Your family is my family. I started caregiving back in 2013 when my grandmother became terminally I'll from bone cancer. At the young age of 19 I had to quit my job at Walmart to care for her along side the help of the hospice nurse. When she passed all the things I learned stuck with me. At that point I knew then it was something I was meant to do, to help other families that may be going thru the same. I've very loving, compassionate and understanding of any and all situations. I'm going to do my absolute best to make everyday a pleasant experience with your family member no matter how hard it may become. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing I am an able and willing servant of the Lord who doesn't mind helping my fellow people live out the best possible life I can help them live. It gives me great honor just knowing I do my best in helping others in anyway possible. I have always been told how great of a worker I am families often times want to hire me for personal home health care after seeing my passion. I love caring for others .
