What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I truly care and want the best for my clients. I wanted to become a caregiver after helping to care for my grandmother who had dementia. The most enjoyable part of being a caregiver is knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life and seeing that big smile on their face. I am proud of being a CNA for 23 years now.

I love working with clients. Especially ones I can get to know. I love the fact that I'm able to help others and not have to worry about family wondering if their family member is in good hands.

Hello! As you are reading this, I hope you are in great spirit. Being in peace and happiness is very important to me. I find solace in helping others that may not be able to help themselves. We both are receiving goodness in that moment. I have always been a caregiver. As a young teenager and the oldest of three siblings, I helped my Mother continuously with caregiving for my siblings. She is very proud of the help I assisted her with to this day. As an adult, I have assisted in taking care of my husband's family members, my grandparents and of course my own children (25, 18, 11 and 8 years old). I am a licensed Realtor by trade. However, I am lead to do more to help those who cannot help themselves. I currently volunteer as a board member on the Hawkinsville Pulaski County Arts Council (HPCAC ) and the Hawkinsville Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, in which we serve the community. Caregiving fits right into the category of service. My most proud personal achievement is the manner in which I serve my family and others in my circle and community.
