What I like about being a Caregiver is the diversity of my clients, everyone has a different story and background. I love to listen about their lives, accomplishments, family and loved ones. It's like watching a Classic tale of another time and these stories become part of my life, parts not to be forgotten. I love to put not only my heart into my work, but my sensitivity, compassion, laughter,attentiveness and honest character as well. I have worked with some challenging cases like Alzheimer's, Cancer patient's, Stroke patient's and other types of illnesses. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with and known my patient's, not just as patient's, but we became friends as well, and I was there when they needed me. I have been a CNA/Home Health Aid for several years, currently my license is inactive, but I still retain all the skills necessary to perform an outstanding job for you. I love to be a Caregiver and am thankful The Lord allowed such experiences in my life. I knew at a young age that I wanted to help people. Growing up helping my grandmother and uncle with medication and everyday activity inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare. My favorite aspect about being a caregiver is seeing the joy on the patient and families faces. I hope to continue to spread joy onto many more patients and families!

I look at my clients like they're family. I treat everyone with respect. I always wanted to stay in the medical field. You meet new people and they tell you different stories about their life. I enjoy spending time with them and bonding with them. They share things with you meet the family it's a different type of feeling. It touch me to my heart when I finally got my client to go on the porch which she haven't since I started.

Hello, I am Octavia 35 year old wife and mother of 3z I have over 15 years of experience working with the public and helping others. I worked locally for 7 years at with mental/behavioral health individuals assisting them with daily living skills, doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, education of diagnosis and skill building to assist them with managing their symptoms and linking them to resources that are available in our community. I also have over 3 years' experience as a PCA and client support aide. I am currently a certified medical assistant with 3 years experience. My passion has always been helping others from my non-profit organization to community services. I am patient, kind, and skilled to assist all type of clients.
