Im newly certified BUT have 2 years and a half experience and looking to switch to in home care for more flexibility since I'll be going back to school soon for phlebotomy next. I currently work at a hospital as a healthcare technician in the Emergency Department. I'm CPR/BLS certified. I am a mandatory reporter for both adult and child abuse/ neglect. I'm fully vaccinated for COVID as well as the Flu shot. I can help out with mostly about anything. Preparing food, cleaning/housekeeping, helping with medication, personal cares, exercising or even a championship. I can even help with pets such as dog and cats if we'll behaved. I also have full coverage insurance so I can assist with driving and errand runs with no issues. I can provide certain documents for all of these things and certifications if needed. I became a caregiver because I have always has an urge for helping people who truly need it the most, i am open, friendly, caring, kind, and that's what makes me a great caregiver. I enjoy being able to bring joy and happiness into their lives, being able to listen to their stories, and most of all knowing i am someone who they can trust and depend upon when necessary.

The emotional and physical drain it is on the individual and the family when going through illness and/or aging is one I'm very familiar with. I have provided support and care to both parents who had cancer and were in Hospice care at home. In addition, I've assisted friends who've had a family member declining. I have no education or professional experience as a bedside caregiver nor do I feel comfortable or confident in providing medical or physical care. I am however, passionate and fully capable of providing excellent support in the following: emotional support | companionship | light housework | cooking | errands | appointments etc. Although the hands on physical bedside care is necessary and of extreme importance, I feel emotional love and support is also a crucial component, as humans we all need to have love and companionship. If this type of care is your need I would be fully vested in providing this service to your loved one as if he or she were my own family member.
