I have taken pride in my ability to provide excellent care to any and all clients that I have worked for. I am a dependable worker and take pride in my work. I enjoy being able to help those that cannot always do certain things for themselves so he/she can continue to be at home. I also work for the lab at Unity Point Finley Hospital, as a Phlebotomist, where I continue to offer my services to those that come in and need lab related services. I'm a hard and dependable worker with 12+ years of experience.

I have been a caregiver for 8 years, I've loved forming connections to the clients to help them get through the difficulties they face with everyday life. I am very patient and understanding during tough moments and can deescalate with validation and compassion. I have even assisted a few family members while in college before diving into this field as a career and really found it fulfilling to be able to give my all to those who need help.

I am calm, I have a sense of humor, but know when to be serious! I have a lot of patience and I'm fun-loving along with being organized and detail-oriented! I have always wanted to be a caregiver ever since I was a little girl, because working with the geriatric group brings me happiness as a person. The thing I enjoy most I being able to make a difference and each persons' life and giving them the exceptional care they deserve! A personal achievement I am proud of is staying at Mt. Carmel for 4 years in my adolescent years and making the honor roll with a GPA of 3.95 in High school!

I worked with 5 nurses and 1 doctor for 10 years, then went on my own for 13 years and am still working. I tended to Hospice patients and their families. Personal care and whatever family needed done . Changed linen, did hair, shaved men. My patients were rejuvenated after care. I never let one patientlose their dignity. This care gives me purpose in my life. It has taught me to live life well and take nothing for granted. My work is my life. I just love careing for people, and di any errands for family or let them know they could go run errands while I am taking care of their loved ones. It gave them a much needed break and knowing their loved ones are in good hands with me. I am a Clinton native and everyone knows me. I also saw patients in surrounding areas and Illinoise. Would love to teach Hospice care to aides. What I do you cannot learn in a book. I have so much knowledge, if I dont do alot of Hospuce I would love to have new aides carry on my knowledge and use it as they work. I dont care too much about pay, I just want to work in some capacity in Hospice. Thank you for a chance to make a difference in peoples life, and I know without a doubt.

I am a mother of 5 grown beautiful children and have been a CNA for 20+ years. I have worked in ICU ,children hospitals, nursing homes and trained at VA hospital to do tracks to care for 1 of my clients with ALS. I also worked on the altemizer units in the nursing homes. I love what I do and is very important to me to care for the elders whom we love..

I'm think I'm a great caregiver because I put other people first. I care about other people's well being. I'm very caring and I love to look after other people who unfortunately can't do it all themselves. I'm very trustworthy, reliable, caring, hardworking. I started working for my Mother in the home caring business at age 17 and have been doing so since. Loving what I do isn't a big enough word to describe how much it means to me.

I am a very hospitable and caring person by nature. I became most interested in being a care-giver when my own mother needed care because of Alzheimers disease. She lived for 11 yrs with it so I went through every single stage of the disease with her. Although I have office, customer service, retail sales and driving experience, I'm looking to branch out into other careers that are more-suitable for my age (59.) Care-giving is the direction I would like to go! I've been told I have a way of making others feel comfortable (2 of my previous supervisors told me this) and I am very eager to use my skills and naturally calm demeanor to help others. My most proud achievement in life was to raise a son who became a doctor a few years ago!
