I am a mother of 3 children (& multiple God children) and a grandma of 6 (as well as multiple God Grandkids!) I always have a house full of kids! I worked in the healthcare field for years. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of children, elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I am a people person and love to work with people! I am very dependable and I am a very fast learner. I listen to the needs and concerns of the individual(s) that I am taking care of (working for) and I try to take care of everything asked of me. I address concerns immediately and try to resolve them (or ease them) to the best of my ability! I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!

Hi, my name is Vanessa Phillips. I am a mother of two, a daughter (8) and a son (3). I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years now. I have worked in pretty much every area of my field such as geriatrics, hospice, home care, assisted living, and so on. I love the Nursing field and will be continuing my career as I got accepted into LLCC's ADN program beginning this Fall. I have worked so hard for this opportunity and hope to become an RN in 2023 after graduation and passing my boards. I am very passionate about Nursing and I believe this shows in my work and everyday life. I rescue reptiles on the side and have been able to help and turn some into companion pets and get to come with me to the places I work before and the residents have seemed to love it, it's cool to take something kinda unordinary and turn it into something positive they can learn about, that's out of their norm and they seem to like it, I've helped quite a few seniors through this line of work, which is funny to me they always tell me how much I help them, cuz in reality they are the ones that help me, and keep me humble and kind, and fulfill a empty part of me I never knew I have!
