My name is Krystal Orris, I'm 37 yrs old. I have been a Geriatric care specialist for 17 yrs. I became a GCS in 2005 to help work in Geriatric Care with the hopes of one day becoming a nurse. I have lots of experience in long term care. Including hospice, home health, activities of daily living, companionship, medication assistance, colostomy, ileostomy care, dialysis care, oxygen assistance

I have been taking care of my parents since September of 2020 doing in home care for my parents. I have experience teaching exercise class since 1999 in gentle stretching and Yoga/Pilates. It has been a great experience giving them aid in their last years of life. I have a BLS CPR certification that is valid until 9/2021. It has been a very rewarding experience being with them during their final years and taking on their care of them and make them smile. Although most of my previous positions have been in the administrative assistant position I have truly enjoyed being a part of making a difference in elderly persons life and being there for them to help them with their care and making life a little easier for them.

I am a very positive and down to earth person . I love to help people in anyway that I can. I wanted to become a caregiver to fulfill that gap of family members not being around as much and to make my clients feel like they are at ease.

1. Why did you become a caregiver? I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. 3. what is a personal achievement you are proud? A personal achievement that I am proud of is caring for a client who didn't have any family and couldn't care for herself and becoming a big part of her life. 4. Tell us something about yourself? I am a very hard-working young woman I love being a certified nurses assistant. I love to helping people who aren't able to help themselves as if they would like to. I am very honest, passionate and loving.

I'm a people person so I love to help! I became a caregiver because of my grandmother who needed a helping hand! I just enjoy helping! And I love people!

28 yo CNA. I've worked with dementia clients, Alzheimer's clients, clients who need ambulatory care. I am a very good and punctual worker. Also CPR, and first aif certified.

I am dependant, reliable, compassionate and caring. I have worked with children and adults with varying disabilities and needs. I became interested in being a caregiver at an early age when my parents brought me to their places of work working with adults with varying degrees of cognitive disabilities. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver are getting to know different individuals personally and being able to help in any way possible. I also enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life even if in a small way. A personal achievement that I am proud of is making a connection with a 7 year old boy who came to the school for children with special needs that I was working at that allowed him to start trusting adults enough that he started flourishing in our program.

Been a CNA for 14 years. Ive worked in a few nursing homes. My father has Parkinson's disease and being a cna as long as I have. U learn to deal with all sorts of disability. I'm plan on furthering my education and become a registered nurse.

What would make me a great caregiver would be I having loving and caring attitude. When dealing with patients I always provide my best attitude and keep a positive one as well! What attracted me to become a caregiver was that my father was in a care facility, while in that particular facility he wasn't treated well so that drove me to make sure that I put great care out there for others.

I became a caregiver to help provide care to those in need. I enjoy getting to know the individuals and their families.
