Hi I've been in the business for over 14 years i grew up living with my grandparents and i watched how after they retired and needed help and had someone caring for them that made me wanna help another elderly person out as much as i could i gain history lessons and knowledge from my clients as well thy let me know a lot Of different things

I am looking for a part time position with hours in the evenings and/or weekends. I became a Caregiver because I enjoy being around people. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and after my grandfather passed away, I would visit her frequently to do her hair and other small tasks for her. The more time I spent there, I discovered how much I loved it. I got my Caregivers certificate within months and have never loved what I do so much. I love being able to help others. I love encouraging them to embrace what they can do and help them, gently, with what they are unable to do, now. Even though the job may be difficult at times, the reward at the end of the day is always worth it. I have worked in some very challenging circumstances where my patience, joy and understanding are challenged. I am proud to say that I have learned to understand where my client is coming from in different circumstances. I have learned to be patient with them during any situation and to be joyful before, during and after any trying time. I am a people person, with a big heart, who cares immensely for other people. I am trustworthy, kind, patient, caring and understanding.

I think I am a great caregiver because I pay strict attention to the needs and wants of my clients. I became a caregiver, after I retired, because I love people and have a passion to help. What I like most about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to be of assistance in any way that I can for people. I have a very loving, caring heart and out of the many clients that I've had, I can honestly say, I've loved them and they have loved me as well. Besides all of that, I enjoy the wonderful conversations that we have and enjoy the many stories I've heard from them. I have patience and I like to show my clients the special attention that they want and need.

A very experienced and competent Support Worker, reliable, gentle by nature, patient, understanding and empathetic. As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. I've been a Licensed CNA for 4 in a half years. I've worked in nursing homes assisted livings hospitals and mental/substance abuse units. I'm very genuine loving and understanding when it comes to my work because i know it's hard to find that in the healthcare field nowadays, it's like everyone just does it for the money and no passion behind it. Although i like to get paid it's genuine passion that comes with me. I got into this field because of my grandmother so i proud myself on treating my patients clients and/or residents as such. I'm currently in nursing school, well doing my prerequisites for nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College I'm super proud and excited about that because going back for my R.N has been a goal of mine since i became a CNA back in 2019. Im just proud that I'm actually and finally in the process of making that happen! Dominating and changing the healthcare industry is my end game.
