Hello! My names Katrina ive been in home health since I was 13 years old! I started with children who had special needs. I worked with them for about 5 years then started to lean more towards the elderly who really just need a lending hand at home a companion etc. Though I take my job very seriously and dont mind doing the dirty work as well bed baths toileting bed side commodes. I am experianced with hoyer lifts I am CPR certified and First Aid. I'm fluent in sign language for those who may have a family member who is hard of hearing or deaf. Its exhausting to type an entire bio and I much prefer to talk on the phone. I am a loving bubbly person who just cares alot for people family or not sometimes a little too much and sometimes thats okay! I have recently just became a license practical nurse this summer as I graduated from Ivy tech community college in South Bend. I have been working with children for almost three years now at Walkerton and North Liberty elementary at the before and after program and I have recently taken on a job working with special needs students at John Glenn High School. I am trustworthy, hardworking, and caring. I've always been attracted to being a caregiver for my love of working with children and special needs. It is so rewarding to see the time and effort put into something and having it truly make an impact on someone!
