I became a certified nurses assistant in 1987 through state of Indiana. I continued for 23 years. I wanted this type of job since junior high. I love this type of work to see smiles and make tasks easier for those who have a hard time. I too may be there soon. I have done hospice experience for a year and caregiver work around 6 years.

I have 19 years of experience as a CNA. I am very compassionate and have a huge heart. I used to go to work with my mother as a child at the nursing homes. I knew then that's what I wanted to do when I was old enough. I truly take every patient as a member of my family. I enjoy spending quality time with each patient to fully meet their needs. I love making someone's day brighter.

My grandmother suffered from dementia and Parkinson's disease so I quickly learn to adapt to life in her life and mind. I am currently pursing my degree in nursing in hopes to continue my education after obtaining my bachelors onto my masters program. I have been a CNA for the past 5 years, just shy of 6 years and love my job. I recently just worked at a hospital for a few years and had received so much experience I would love to share with you. I volunteered at Union Hospital for three summers before obtaining my CNA licenses in 2013. My grandmother had a double hip replacement and needed assistance with getting out of bed and just everyday life for several weeks. I took care of her and it opened my mind and heart to caring for others. I have been a CNA for 6 years and I learn more about it all the time of what it takes, how I can impact someones life. I enjoy making others smile when they do not feel like they can go on anymore. I have strong shoulders for family members to cry on and they have several times when a loved one passes.

Hello my name is Lindsey Jones and I'm a mother of 5 which consist of two sets of twins a year apart, and the reason I am attracted to being a caregiver is I enjoy being the reason to keep somebody in there home where there comfortable and I love caring and helping and I'm still in school at ultimate Medical Academy studying to be a medical assistant and overall I just love being a caregiver

The most important aspect of being a caregiver to me is building a relationship with my clients that becomes more of a family rather than a job or their caregiver. I feel that it helps me to help others! I live to make others smile, feel important as anyone should feel,and never felt alone or scared that they don't have someone there for them. I loved my grandmother I was so close with her she got sick I took care of her and I was who she had . So it helps remind me of her and the wisdom I gained from her was tremendous! I love to cook and bake. I don't mind cleaning at all I find it a great stress reliever. I enjoy stories and conversation I like learning about others and I find it very rewarding to see someone I'm helping smile and see the light shine from them because they have the help they need and deserve that I have provided for them. I am available for any day and hours are open to any! I am a single recently divorced woman I'm a homebody and I enjoy walking and live animals.
