I have been a Director of a care facility for the past 10 years. I have enjoyed a lifetime of providing person centered care when needed. I enjoy spending my life caring for others and I enjoy how full my life is to have so many wonderful people in my life. I work well with a variety of people. I do a through job of provided hands on personal care as well as doing brain engaging activities.

Hello I'm Ladonna, I am 35 years old, I have three children two girls and a boy ages from 15,10,7. I love being a caregiver because I feel like I miss a lot with my grandparents and I get so close with my clients it's really sad sometimes but you know I enjoy it because I love them just like I would love my own mother or grandmother or father or grandfather. I have also worked with a special needs I had a client he had cerebral palsy and he was in his sixties I worked with him for about 2 years and I just love him and he loves me, we hated to part ways, but things happened and you know I just wasn't able to stay with him and we still talk from time to time and I feel in spots for him. Also I have references. I think that I'm funny, I'm a very good listener, I'm a good cleaner, I have patience, I'm very Stout I can lift quite a bit so that would be an issue if I had to lift them . But most of all I have a good heart ;) And I love the Lord. I trust him with every aspect of my life today. My personality traits for being a great caregiver is I love what I do as a caregiver. I been around the caregiver life since I was 8 years old. Due my mother is a cna. I always want to do that line of work and more . What attracted me to being a caregiver is watching my mother do it and watch how much it she loved and tell me about her job. I also had a sickly father that made me want to do it even more to walk in his shoes throw it all. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy I can bring into someone life even if for couple of month they may have left . The joy of being there ear to talk to or listen to all there store even if it on repeat know that someone cares about them if there family don't or don't have the time to be there. My personal achievements I am proud of was being there for my father even when it got hard to see. My father was 53 when he passed away this year. He always want me to live my life but as much he try to push to live my life I stayed not to far away to be his anchor when he need me. Help him change his dressing to help meal prep due him being so weak from dialysis. Being his daughter, his support, caregiver, counselor all in one as well . Doing what I love with a person I love the most. That's how I look at others when I'm in this field as they was one my love one that need help and care for .
