I have been a Director of a care facility for the past 10 years. I have enjoyed a lifetime of providing person centered care when needed. I enjoy spending my life caring for others and I enjoy how full my life is to have so many wonderful people in my life. I work well with a variety of people. Hello I'm Ladonna, I am 35 years old, I have three children two girls and a boy ages from 15,10,7. I love being a caregiver because I feel like I miss a lot with my grandparents and I get so close with my clients it's really sad sometimes but you know I enjoy it because I love them just like I would love my own mother or grandmother or father or grandfather. I have also worked with a special needs I had a client he had cerebral palsy and he was in his sixties I worked with him for about 2 years and I just love him and he loves me, we hated to part ways, but things happened and you know I just wasn't able to stay with him and we still talk from time to time and I feel in spots for him. Also I have references. I think that I'm funny, I'm a very good listener, I'm a good cleaner, I have patience, I'm very Stout I can lift quite a bit so that would be an issue if I had to lift them . But most of all I have a good heart ;) And I love the Lord. I trust him with every aspect of my life today. And I really hope to hear from you and let me be that special someone for you to help with your loved ones because I will love them just like they were my own. I am a great caregiver because I don't treat caring for patients as a job. My goal is make my families feel as if I'm one of them. I am very caring and passionate, as well as understanding. I build a personal bond that allows the family and their loved one to feel safe and secure in my care. I decided being a caregiver was my calling once my grandmother became ill with brain cancer and I was responsible for her during the days. Although she was my granny, caring for her allowed me to see life differently, love her even more, and build a bond way different from just that of being her granddaughter.
