Why did I become a caregiver you ask. Growing up I always was around the older women in my family. I loved listening to all the old stories. When my grandma got sick I watched how her CNA will just come in and do her anyway. It break my heart. As I got older the love got stronger for elderly. The best part of being a caregiver is knowing that your able to help someone when they need you the most. I'm a young woman with a bright future ahead of me. I have time and patience for each one of my clients. I strive to make each one top priority when I am with them. My mom and grandmother are nurses and I use to go to work with them. Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Traveling to different places. Meeting the families. I am a people person. My greatest achievement is finishing college while raising a family and working.

I am an adult Female that has a good listening ear. I take initiative and I am physically active and strong. I have empathy and I like to put myself in my clients shoe and assist them as I would wish to be assisted, no matter the situation or the circumstances. Even if only to make them smile. I naturally like helping people and giving them a hand, leaving a person in a better situation than how I found them. For example, I once found a client, depressed and a year long in a wheel chair. Everyday I would encourage her to take a step, even if one. After six months of this practice; she ended up having leg braces and was walking with them plus a cane. No longer in a wheelchair. This is just one of the many achievements, over the years, that I am proud of, in helping different ages, and people from different population, achieve.
