I became a caregiver because I did not want to work in main stream Healthcare anymore. My passion is helping seniors the way they and their family's want to be cared for without Healthcare systems making the choices for their care. I worked as a physical therapy assistant for 27 years. The last 8 were in a rehabilitation department at a skilled nursing facility. I have enjoyed the last 9 years doing private home care as a caregiver. Helping individuals live their lives with dignity, safety and loving care.

Hi! I'm gia, i am a CNA and currently enrolled as a senior in highschool at Lake Region High School. I completed the CNA program at my Vocational school my junior year and have been working in health care ever since. I'm a very easy going type of person. I've wanted to be a caregiver since i was little and jumped right at the opportunity. I love being a CNA, i love helping my clients with anything they could possibly need help with. I love the bond that comes from being in this field. My main goal is to put a smile on anyones face. I am a student in highschool, I'm only available certain days of the week and i have a Cafe job on the weekends as i am saving up to go to college to get my RN associates degree. Becoming a CNA so young was one of the best personal achievements i have and i couldn't be happier to be apart of the experiences it offers!

I was raised in a family of all nurses. I had a strong interest in helping others so I took the CNA course. I have been a CNA and have been actively working as a CNA since 2009. I have worked in all different types of settings, such as hospitals. nursing homes, private care duties, group homes, and home care. I love to give back to people that are in need of help. I love it sit and talk with people. I love what I do because it gives back to the community especially the elderly that need the extra help and have worked hard their whole lives. I'm recently married to my best friend. I was born and raised in Aroostook County, Maine until almost 3 years ago I relocated to southern maine for work reasons and of course to be with my now husband. I have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Before I was a CNA I was a waitress for almost 5 years. I have great customer service skills. I enjoy reading, learning new things, and being outdoors. I love any outdoors activity.

I became a caregiver because I absolutely love to help people and allow them the best quality of life. Making people happy is something I look forward to doing every day. I am currently in nursing school and it is tough but very interesting. Once the semester starts up again in September I will have less availability but still willing to be very flexible.
