What I love most about being a caregiver is that you know your doing a good deed by having a relationship with you client & caring for them with the most respect & being dependable.

I'm very outgoing and easy to get along with and listen very well and observe thing's as well. I love helping the elderly and love to hear there stories and I feel rewarded when helping them with there daily routines or anything they need help with. I'm very proud of getting certified to work with the elderly and learn everything I know to take care of them with there need's, I know how to take blood pressure's, do cpr, check blood sugar, can give insulin if needed, know how to give showers, and do medicine reminder.

I am easy going and relaxed. I enjoy and am very passionate about helping other in need. Being punctual and respectful are very important to me in providing the best care I can give. I treat everyone as if they were my family

I became a registered nurse right out of high school. I let my license lapse so I could stay home and take care of my family. Now of course I went back to what I love which is being a caregiver. I'm somewhat of an overachiever. I strive every day to make sure the patient feels secure and well cared for.Their happiness is my happiness.

I was born in Lansing MI, and at two I moved to Grand Rapids, I went to Eastern Elementary School and then to Creston High School. I took up Machine Shop and Architectural Drawing. I was the oldest of 12 children. After high school I took a Tool & Die Apprenticeship. I also worked as a volunteer for the fire department. I built a house in Sparta Township where I live with my wife. I retired from Tool Die 2010 because of cancer. Then I started volunteering at Rest Haven Homes which ended up in a paid position. I enjoy making some one happy and to do the things they enjoy and also to be a companion and a friend. I do transportation to doctor appointments, dentist appointments, shopping, movies, out to eat, visit a friend, errands, or travel, I also do in home care with dressing assistance, mobility, exercise, meal planning, and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, etc. I have completed classes on Hospice Care, Dementia, and worked at Rest Haven Homes for 12 years, and 3 1/2 years with Leaves Personal Care.

I have been a stay at home mom for 23 years. I spent a few years caring for my grandma while trying to keep her in her home as long as possible as her health deteriorated due to dementia. I've volunteered in a number of capacities but always wanted to find things that kept my evenings and weekends open for my family. I enjoy playing and listening to music, crocheting, quilting, reading, taking walks, the Michigan beaches and spending time with my family and friends. I am pretty laid back and fun loving but I also like a good plan and organization.

I have always been a caring and compassionate person. I started my medical career as an army medic. I then became a paramedic and have continued to help people of all ages and medical conditions in many different settings. As a registered nurse I have been able to continue to provide care in the emergency room, long term care facility and urgent care. I love to meet new people. I find that most people can find something in common to talk about. I am very proud of my son, and enjoy living close to family.

Love feeling needed. Also love giving the patient the best, day possible. Love to watch old movies, bring old postcards, or cook be dishes their mother made in the past. Miss my own grandparents terribly. Caregiving fills that void for me. Love, it when my patients relive the past, and feel young again! Proud of taking care of people and helping them regain joy, in their last days.

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile, I am Diamonique , I've been in the healthcare field for 8 years now and everyday it's a different challenge for me to solve. That motivates me to be the best worker I'm capable of doing. I've learned so much from different trainings, meeting new participants at AFC/Assistant living homes, supervisors etc. . Having two years of experience being a program coordinator prompt me with better community engagement and customer service.
