I have been doing home health care for over 20 yrs now. I love my job and what I do. If I can make someone's life easier then I know I have done my job. I Love people And not just anyone can do this kind of work. You have to have a passion for people, and that's what I have. Every client I have had love my work. I'm good at what I do because I love what I do.

Love feeling needed. Also love giving the patient the best, day possible. Love to watch old movies, bring old postcards, or cook be dishes their mother made in the past. Miss my own grandparents terribly. Caregiving fills that void for me. Love, it when my patients relive the past, and feel young again! Proud of taking care of people and helping them regain joy, in their last days.

I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 10 years, I love what I do and enjoy helping others. Nursing has always been my calling. I will be graduating in 2022 with my RN.

Making a difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my calling. For the past eight years, I've been privileged to support their well-being and independence, and offer peace of mind to their families. As a Nursing Assistant, I provide respite care, transportation, hospice services, and home health assistance. I am also adept at personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and managing medications. I'm experienced in dementia care, including de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities. I communicate with families through daily reports, text, or phone calls, always respecting their preferred method. Building a connection with your loved one means understanding their preferences and personal history. I hold current CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications. Knowing I can bring comfort and support to your family is what motivates me every day.

I am currently a lab assistant/phlebotomist working for Mercy Health in Muskegon, MI. In early June 2018, I will be relocating to Seguin, TX to be closer to my family. Since November of 2016, I have worked part to full time as a traveling lab assistant at two separate geriatric/long-term care facilities, while also working in both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient draw stations. During this time I have constant interaction with patients of all ages, and heavy exposure to geriatric care and care settings, ranging from assisted living care, short-term nursing home recovery, to hospice care. I am passionate about providing quality, dedicated care to my patients, and peace of mind to their families. I love cooking and meal prep and am more than able to accommodate cooking and shopping based on dietary needs. I am more than capable and willing to help with any extra cooking, cleaning, and errands, as well as offer companionship. My favorite part of working in healthcare has always been working to achieve comfort and happiness for my patient while giving them the quality care that I would expect any caregiver to give to a member of my own family.
