Some personality traits about myself is that I'm outgoing, caring and honest when it comes to my work and always try doing my best job at any task that I'm given. I have always been a caring and compassionate person. I started my medical career as an army medic. I then became a paramedic and have continued to help people of all ages and medical conditions in many different settings. As a registered nurse I have been able to continue to provide care in the emergency room, long term care facility and urgent care. I love to meet new people. I find that most people can find something in common to talk about. I am very proud of my son, and enjoy living close to family.

I'm an experienced caregiver currently searching for the next assignment. I have experience working with elderly people including those with dementia. I worked in California (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Red Wood city) . I have been recognized for my ability to relate and to find a good contact with my clients. I learn about their interests and hobbies and support them. I like to listen to their life stories and make them feel appreciated. One man from my previous work (he was 86, Alzheimer) and he spoke three languages. He has many books and we spend a lot of time in his library. Another, my client, was a teacher and I wrote on a computer the stories of her life. The third man has an advanced form of dementia and I took care of his basic needs. I cherish those experiences and each of them makes me a better caregiver. I wanted to let you know that I like what I do.

I love to help people. Its my passion as was my mom's and my grandmothers. My family comes from a long line of nurses. I'm responsible, loving, caring, and passionate about my job and making others feel comfortable. Alot of people tell me I'm hilarious but I don't see it. I really enjoy the stories and life lessons you can learn from just listening to the patients and once in a whileit puts courage in me too do the impossible. Some people think of a male caregiver as akward, but I think we need more Male nurses in the world.
