I cared for my Mother in my home until she passed, and cared for my husband (bone cancer) until he passed. I have a strong desire to help others when they are ill. I try to make each day a little better for them. I love to see them laugh and enjoy preparing their favorite foods, having conversations and listening to them. I am very active with my family, we ride roller coasters, go on cruises and we have dinner a least once a week. I am blessed to have a large loving family. I am a very calm, generally happy person who enjoys singing while I work. I originally accepted a position as housekeeper at Emeritus of Hattiesburg, but discovered that I had a connection with the residents and really enjoyed working with them, so I transitioned to Care giving. Being able to help someone through a difficult day is very rewarding for me.
