An achievement I'm proud of is receiving my Associates in Science and my Associates in Arts all while being in high school. I am a 2022 graduate of the Beaufort County Early College High School. At 18 I obtained those two degrees, and although it was difficult at times, it taught me to be resilient and hard working.

Im an energetic 30yr old female who is very passionate when it comes to the elderly. My great grandmother and the social clubs I was apart of in highschool is what attracted me to elderly. I love hearing the back in the day stories told by them! What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to provide or care for people who aren't able to care for themselves also help motivate the ones that can. I grew up watching my mom work with home help, and there was not a client who did not love her. One once said, was to know her was to love her. I tend to think that I took on my mom personality traits. Some of those traits are kind, patient, caring, helpful, loving, outgoing, and charismatic. I used to work in a nursing home, and I absolutely loved it. Just being able to help someone and make them feel comfortable in a place they once did not call home, is so soothing. It's never an easy task for elders to adjust to either assisted living or a nursing home; so with the help of us caregivers, we can make their transition much easier.
